November Workshop

INSTRUCTOR: Kirsten Rasmussen

SCENE STARTERS

A high energy workshop taught by award winning improviser Kirsten Rasmussen. Good improv starts in the first few lines of the scene. This workshop will teach you drills and exercises that will help you make your initiations strong, confidant and detailed. Also exercises to be more sensitive to your scene partners offers. The first 15 to 30 seconds of an improv scene are the most important. This workshop will help you make those seconds count.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Kirsten Rasmussen is an improviser/comedian who lives in Montreal. She was a founding director of the Montreal Improv Theatre and continues to teach improv and produce improv shows there. Kirsten is a trainer and judge with the Canadian Improv Games and an alumni of Rapid Fire Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta. Kirsten also writes solo show, does stand-up and is known every once in a while to be in Shakespeare show.
