Hey gang, just a little update to let y’all know where we’ve been this summer!
Cari Leslie spent a couple beautiful weeks on the west coast working at the Canadian Improv Game’s Improv Camp along side some of the nation’s most talented improvisers – and teaching some of this country’s most promising young talent. An improv camp alum herself, this was Cari’s first year working at Camp, and the Camp’s first year at it’s new home in British Columbia! Prior to that, Cari hit the stage for a week in Toronto at the Next Act Festival – see the photo!
AL Connors, had a similar experience this summer, only his was on the other side of the Earth. July 2009 saw the debut of Canadian Improv Games programming down under – and AL was one of 9 Canadians chosen to teach our uniquely Canadian style of improvisation to a group of over 70 eager students at Point Wolstoncroft, 90 minutes north of Sydney Australia! AL enjoyed a brief 10 days in Oz, which included some fantastic seafood, high tea at the Canadian Consulate and his 30th birthday… and there was some improv in there too!
